Tropical Green Smoothie
This is sure to be your new go-to drink. In addition to the power-packed kale and spinach, it has almond milk, zingy ginger, and earthy and colorful turmeric, which is gaining popularity for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks fresh, frozen, or canned
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup fresh kale leaves chopped, washed and stems removed
- 1/8 cup fresh baby spinach leaves washed
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp fresh gingerroot peeled and grated
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
