Turkey Meatballs with Cranberry-Mustard Sauce
Perfect for holiday get-togethers, these turkey meatballs are served with a cranberry-mustard dipping sauce.
Ingredients
Turkey Meatballs
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp onion minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 3 oz liquid eggs substitute 2 medium eggs, whisked
- 1 3/4 lb ground turkey
- 6 Tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp panko breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley leaves washed and minced
- 1 Tbsp poultry seasoning (no salt) or mix sage, thyme, marjoram, rosemary and a pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Cranberry-Mustard Sauce
- 4 Tbsp whole grain mustard
- 10 oz canned jellied cranberry sauce
Instructions
Turkey Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- In saute pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onion and garlic. Saute 1-2 minutes. Cool.
- In a large bowl by hand or a mixer bowl with a paddle attachment, combine onion mixture and remaining meatball ingredients. Mix on low until well combined, 3-4 minutes. DO NOT OVERMIX.
- On a parchment-lined sheet pan, portion 24 meatballs (about 2 inches each) 1" apart.
- Bake until internal temperature reaches 165 F, 16-18 minutes. Drain. Serve hot.
Cranberry-Mustard Sauce
- Combine all ingredients. Whisk until well blended. Serve at room temperature.
