Strawberry Overnight Chia Oats
A nutritious breakfast couldn't be easier! Oats mixed with milk, yogurt, honey, and chia seeds are soaked overnight in the refrigerator, then topped with sweet strawberries and crunchy granola before serving. (Or chop and mix your berries in overnight for a twist.)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup lowfat or nonfat milk
- 1 1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats old-fashioned
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 1/4 cup fresh strawberries stemmed and sliced
- Granola without raisins optional
Instructions
- Combine milk, yogurt, honey and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- Fold in oatmeal and chia seeds until well combined. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
- Portion overnight oats into serving bowl or container(s). Top with strawberries and your favorite granola, if desired.
