Spicy Mediterranean Turkey Burger
Turkey burger with lettuce, onion, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese and spicy tzatziki on an oat topped wheat roll
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey 93% lean
- 8 ea wheat oat topped Kaiser roll
- 2/3 cup tzatziki prepared
- 1/4 cup sriracha hot chili sauce
- 8 ea green leaf lettuce leaves
- 1 ea tomato thinly sliced
- 1 ea red onion thinly sliced
- 1 ea cucumber thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled Feta cheese
Instructions
- Preheat flat-top griddle to 350 F.
- Form ground turkey into eight 3oz patties.
- Cook turkey patties for 2 minutes. Turn patties over. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Whisk prepared tzatziki and Sriracha until well blended.
- Spread 2 Tbsp Sriracha-Tzatziki Sauce on top half of roll (toasted if desired).
- Layer the following on bottom half of roll: lettuce leaf, tomato slice, onion slice, 3 cucumber slices, cooked turkey patty, 1 Tbsp feta, top half of roll.
